\n \nWhat You’ll Do
\nAs an HVAC Journeyman Mechanic, you’ll be a key player in delivering high-quality service and solutions to our commercial customers. You’ll work on a variety of systems, from rooftop units to chillers, and help optimize facility performance.
\n \nYour responsibilities will include:
\nDiagnosing and repairing commercial HVAC systems (chillers, boilers, compressors, pumps, fans, etc.)
Performing maintenance and replacements on mechanical systems
Troubleshooting advanced systems including centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, screw chillers, and ammonia/hydrocarbon components
Conducting mechanical shaft alignment and vibration analysis
Installing complete HVAC systems and supporting infrastructure
Providing expert recommendations and quotes for system upgrades and repairs
Collaborating with apprentices and other mechanics to share knowledge and ensure top-tier service
Traveling 10–20% to support customer needs across the region
Prioritizing safety in every task
What We’re Looking For
\nWe’re seeking skilled professionals with a strong mechanical background and a commitment to excellence.
\n \nRequired qualifications:
\nMinimum 3-5 years of commercial/industrial HVAC experience
Universal EPA refrigerant certification
Valid current driver’s license
Proficiency in mechanical alignment and vibration diagnostics
Ability to communicate clearly with customers and document service actions
Willingness to join the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices (UA)
Self-motivated, safety-focused, and eager to learn
Ability to pass a technical proficiency exam

\nHiring Compensation: $21.18 Is determined by the Local UA. (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This position includes a competitive benefits package.
